Pastries with Matcha Tea
- 500gr of flour
- 300gr of butter
- 200gr of sugar
- 3 eggs (2 yolks and 1 entire egg)
- 25gr of Matcha Tea
- 5gr of salt
- a tip of a teaspoon of baking powder
First of all take the butter out of the fridge at least half an hour before preparing the shortcrust pastry.
Mix together flour, butter cut in lumps, 2 yolks, 1 complete egg, a pinch of salt and the baking powder. First nicely then quickly until you obtain a homogeneous paste.
Give it a sphere shape and leave it resting for about 30 minutes in a fresh place.
Now the shortcrust pastry is ready to be used!
As far as the Matcha Tea is concerned we will add it either to the flour or the butter according to the characteristic we want to highlight:
- adding it to the flour, we will exalt the colour
- adding it to the butter, we will exalt the flavor
