Fine Teas
|
On the Yunnan mountains, at the Tibetan border, there are still few Camellia Sinensis centuries-old trees. In this area there’s a city (Si Mao, previously named Pu Erh) renowned for the production of a Tea with recognized healthy properties, the Pu Erh. It’s from this precious garden that are plucked the leaves of the 1.800 years old Camellia Sinensis trees we have chosen for you. YE SHENG PU ERH 2005 is unique and extremely rare. The aroma of this Tea is surprising: the first two infusions perfume like a forest after a storm. Then the notes change to fine tobacco becoming from cup to cup smoother and smoother. Ye Sheng is an extraordinary Tea that, as all the best Pu Erhs, improves with ageing. Keep it on a dry and ventilated place and taste it next year. The 2005 harvest is practically unobtainable.
