Flower Scented Teas

These Teas, prepared only in China and Formosa island, are scented according an ancient and secret method. The Black or Green Tea leaves are mixed with fresh flower petals so that they can absorb the petals aroma. Then the petals are removed and are added some new flowers. The latter have just an ornamental meaning, as they do not influence the Tea scent. Usually the flowers used in this process are jasmines, roses, osmanthus and magnolias. Recently new combinations have been made, such as with lavender and vanilla.
