Known as Eagle Wood, Aloe Wood, Agar Wood or Jinkho, it is a resin produced by a plant: Aquilaria Agallocha or Aquilaria Malaccensis Lam.
When the plant reaches a certain age it can be attached by particular mushrooms and then it secretes a resinous substance with a woody amber scent. It's impossible to re-create this fragrance artificially because the compounds would be extremely expensive.
